Popsugar Must Have Box - November 2014 Review

This is actually my second Popsugar Must Have Box.  My first one was October 2014 - sorry I didn't share that one, but the October box was my first box and it was so disappointing that I swore if the November box was just as bad I planned to cancel my subscription...  Anyways... So here's my experience and thoughts on the November Box.

I actually have these boxes sent to my work since there's no one at home to sign for them.  They come Fed-ex ground and if there's no one home, Fed-ex will ground will than send it over to the local post office.  I don't know about your post office but mine is a hassle so I try to avoid it as much as possible.

The box actually arrived at my office on 11/19 (which is pretty late in the month) However I've read other blogs that have had Popsugar send out boxes fairly late in the month.  I know my review is late too but I just picked up this box from my office since I've been on vacation since last week because of   Thanksgiving.

Here it is just opened.

The card included, tells you about everything inside the box.

This popcorn is a mix of part cheddar popcorn, part caramel corn - sounds like a strange combo but it's sweet and salty and actually pretty good.

This is a set of 15 cards and envelopes. It’s from the new line at Tiny Prints designed by Lisa Sugar. The card stock has a good weight to them and overall great quality.   Also included was a unique coupon code for $25 off a purchase at Tiny Prints – no minimum order required.   However you can't combine the this code with any another of their promo codes.  It also expires 1/31/15.

I've never tried this hand cream.  But I've heard great things about it.  This is vegan friendly since it's made without animal components, petroleum bases or parabens.

Wine Glass Writer – Value $10
These markers are designed to let you write on wine glasses with your name and they are smudge proof in 3 minutes, but wash off with soap and water. Since they work on any glass or glazed ceramic surface, there are lots of uses outside of wine glasses too.

Sorry the color isn't very good here, but the bag is actually a bright blue.  This is a small cross body... but I still like it and think it's very functional.  It will basically hold an iPhone 5, lipstick a money and a few credit cards.  This is the type of purse you go bar hopping or dancing with.  It's really cute and fun... it's just to bad I don't bar hop... but I'm sure I'll find a good use for it :)

This is a beautiful book with looks of lovely photography of pastries.  I skimmed through the book and found it interesting.  The first half of the book explains Dominique Ansel's philosophy and inspiration to his creativity.  The second part of the book contains about 30 recipes including the Cronut which made him famous.  It was also nice to see that the recipes are split up into beginner, intermediate, and advanced recipes. He’s serious about Intermediate recipes – most of them are a two day process!

Overall - I'm thrilled with this box.

Much happier with this box than last months box (which had a lot of generic and useless things in it - I mean really... who likes getting soap, socks and pumpkin nail decals?!?!

I paid $39.95 for this box but the retail value of it's contents is about $135 ($120 if you take into consideration the the Amazon sale price of the book). But if you add in the Tiny Prints coupon that brings the box up to $160 retail value. (I definitely plan on using Tiny Prints coupon so I'm including that into the value of the box.)

If you're interested in subscribing to Popsugar boxes...  the best time is right now.  They are having a special blackfriday/cyber monday sale
